AWANA

AWANA IS OVER FOR THE SUMMER AND WILL START SEPT. 8th

Wednesday evenings - 6:20-8:00pm

AWANA is a nondenominational ministry that assists churches in reaching children with the gospel of Jesus Christ and training them to serve Him.
AWANA is broken into three general areas: Game Time, Handbook Time, & Lesson Time. Children are encouraged to memorize Scripture and are taught who Jesus is and how to become more like Him.

Children are rewarded for their work in memorizing Scripture by badges and awards, and by AWANA Bucks they can use in the AWANA Store, where they can buy all kinds of cool prizes!

Ways to Help:

• Donate items to the AWANA store (contact the GBC office for more information)
• Donate snacks
• Serve as a group leader
• Donate funds to sponsor children (donations are used to help buy books, uniforms, and other items the children may not be able to afford)
• Invite kids! Talk to your neighbors and friends and invite children to attend AWANA where they will hear the good news of the gospel.
